About

Software for the other side of the brand deal.

The creator economy has no shortage of tools — but almost all of them are built for the brands doing the hiring. Dealflow is built for the creator on the other end of the email, who is running a real business out of a spreadsheet and their DMs.

Why it exists

My girlfriend is a UGC creator. I kept watching her work across a spreadsheet, her DMs, her inbox, and half a dozen browser tabs just to answer simple questions — who did I pitch, who never replied, what am I owed this month. Everything she needed was somewhere, but nothing was in one place.

So I built her one. Somewhere to put every brand, pitch, rate, and retainer, that would keep track of it all for her instead of the other way round. Once it was working for her, it seemed obvious that most creators are wrestling with the same pile of tabs.

Because if you do UGC work, your business really is a pipeline: brands to pitch, pitches sent, conversations mid-negotiation, deliverables due, invoices unpaid, retainers up for renewal. That's a lot of moving parts to hold in your head.

Spreadsheets are fine at holding information and terrible at everything else. They don't remind you a brand went quiet three weeks ago, they don't remember what you charged that company last year, and they can't tell you your close rate. So deals quietly die, work gets undercharged, and income becomes a guess. Meanwhile the tools that do track all this properly — the CRMs and influencer platforms — are sold to brands and agencies at brand-and-agency prices.

That's the gap Dealflow fills: one place for every pitch, deal, brand, and retainer, that actually nudges you when something needs attention.

How it's being built

Dealflow isn't designed in a vacuum and handed to creators. It's the opposite: working UGC creators use it, send back detailed notes, and those notes turn into features. Nearly everything in the app traces back to a specific thing someone asked for.

"I forget to follow up when a brand goes quiet" Follow-up nudges
"The stages don't match how I actually work" Rename & add your own columns
"Side-scrolling forever is annoying" Grid view
"Can I organize my notes into folders?" Note folders
"There's no way to save a screenshot of the DM" Paste screenshots onto deals
"Retainers need contract links and deadlines" Full retainer details

There's a feedback button in the bottom corner of every screen in the app. It goes straight to a real inbox, and every message gets read. That loop is the whole product strategy.

Who's behind it

Dealflow is built and run by Sam Mazzuca in California. I'm not a UGC creator myself — I've just spent a long time sitting next to one, watching what the admin side of the job actually looks like. That turned out to be a useful place to build from: close enough to see the real problems, and far enough back to notice nobody had bothered solving them.

It started as a tool for one creator. It's still shaped that way — by people who do this work telling me what's missing.

It's one person, not a company with a support department — which cuts both ways. Nothing gets lost in a ticket queue and feature requests can ship in days. But there's no 24/7 support line, and Dealflow is honest about being early rather than pretending to be enterprise software.

What's next

Being straight about what exists and what doesn't:

Early-access creators have an outsized say in that order. If something on this list matters more to you than the others, say so and it moves.

Try it, then tell me what's wrong with it.

Free while in early access. No card, nothing to install, and your feedback genuinely changes what gets built.
